Brief History of Faith Lutheran Preschool

In September 1983, Faith Lutheran Preschool opened its doors to children and families in the surrounding community near 7th street and Camelback, Phoenix, AZ. Our program is an expression of the ministry and mission of Faith Lutheran Church to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for young children and families to learn and grow together.  We continuously work toward involving members of our surrounding community who cannot economically afford this educational experience as well as to those who can.  Faith Lutheran teaches important values of love, compassion, forgiveness, and care by building meaningful relationships through daily conversations and interactions among children, parents, families and staff.

Preschool Philosophy

We create a learning environment that encourages children to learn through a developmentally appropriate curriculum that helps bring out their potentials.  Our school promotes a safe, caring, and supportive environment that emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child.  Our teachers are dedicated to help develop healthy self-esteem and positive relationships in children.  Our specialty is RELATIONSHIPS.  We are proud of the strong connections that we create between our staff, parents and children to provide a happy and healthy environment where children can grow and learn.

To provide a stimulating environment for children, infants through pre-kindergarten age, to grow and learn with caring, professional staff. Theme based age appropriate curriculum is planned for all developmental stages. We recognize that all children are different and needs to be able to blossom at their own pace. Our school strives to bring out every child’s individual creative potential and create an environment that allows children to utilize problem-solving techniques with peers and adults in social situations with guidance and supervision as needed.
